Advanced Bingo Rules

Since Bingo Couples are generally smarter and more sophisticated than others, we’re sure you’ll master the Basic Rules immediately. Here’s how to jazz up your game (and quickly increase the level of potential embarrassment for all involved in pointing and yelling at people you don’t know in public…)

There are a variety of ways to earn the crucial extra points that will prove to your significant other (FINALLY!) that yours is truly the superior race.

Extra Points

You can earn extra points in several ways once you’ve mastered the basics of Bingo Spotting:

+1 Similarity: If the couple is not just a similar racial/gender mix but really looks like each of you in size, shape, dress, or demeanor, the caller earns one bonus point.

+1 Reverse Gender Bingo: If you spot a rare pairing of a female of one color with a male of another. For example, most Asian/white couples seem to be Asian female + Asian male. If that’s true in your neighborhood, too, you can claim an extra point for calling Bingo on a couple where the man is Asian and the woman is white.

+1 Gay Bingo: Extra point if you spot a same sex couple of mixed races.

+1 Non-white Bingos: If you spot a mixed couple where neither person is white. For example a Black woman and Asian man, an Indian man with a Latina, etc.

+1 Bingo Couple Parents: Extra point for spotting a Bingo couple with their parents. These groups deserve extra points for raising children open to dating other races!

+2 Senior Bingo: Spotting mixed race couples of a “certain age” is worth 2 bonus points. After all, these folks paved the way for you by braving potential discrimination for years. They’ve earned it!

+X Bingettes: If you spot a Bingo couple with their mixed race kids, you get an extra point for every bingette in the group!

+X Bonus Pack: An extra point for each of multiple Bingo couples traveling in a group. It can be hard to sort out who’s with whom, though, so be careful you don’t miscall it and earn a penalty!

Point Subtractions

-1 Miscalls: Any player who calls “Bingo!” inaccurately is docked one point for inaccuracy. This can be tricky because, for example, the long dark hair of Asian and Hispanic women can often look similar from behind, or when Bingettes are involved.

Super Bonus: If the Bingo Couple you spot, also calls “Bingo!” on YOU, everybody wins! You’ve obviously just found a couple of similar good breeding and savoir faire. The first couple to have called it should immediately presume upon the “losing” couple to buy them drinks.

Instant Game Winner: Anyone spotting a couple wearing BingoSpotting.com t-shirts or gear is an instant game winner. Go make friends with those cool people – you obviously have a lot in common!

Our Bingo games to date have been primarily white person + person of another race. This is because we live in the USA, the proud home (and inventors) of Wonder Bread, the whitest product on earth.
